Ordinary Member

An ordinary member shall be any person who is:

(a) a former male registered player of the Club; or

(b) a former female registered player of the Club; or

(c) a former elected or appointed official of the Club who held one or more official positions for a minimum of five years and which official positions may have included, but not exclusively, any of the following:

• Director
• Senior management and other staff;
• Members of a Board Committee;
• Football operations personnel; and
• Club volunteers

 (d) a former elected or appointed official of the Club, who held one or more official positions for a lesser period than five years and who by determination by a resolution of the Committee, may be invited to become an ordinary member.

 HFC PP&OA Ordinary Members receive the following benefits

• Invitation to attend any HFC PP&OA networking function or social event
• Invitation to participate in the Association’s golf day
• Regular Newsletters
• Other benefits determined by the committee from time to time

Full Member

A full member shall be any ordinary member who pays the annual subscription fee set by the Committee for full membership and thereafter maintains full membership upon payment of the annual subscription fee in subsequent years.

HFC PP&OA Full Members receive the following benefits 

• Entitlement to one vote at a general meeting of the Association
• Access to ground entry and reserve seating in the Ponsford Stand at the MCG for home games
• Access to the HFC PP&OA Welfare Fund (upon application and review)
• Advocacy and support by HFC PP&OA for Past Players to access the AFL Player’s Association Injury and Hardship Fund, reimbursement of medical costs and medical insurance excess refunds (one off AFL PA Alumni membership is necessary for this benefit)
• Invitation to attend any HFC PP&OA networking function or social event
• Invitation to participate in the Association’s golf day
• Regular Newsletters
• Other benefits determined by the committee from time to time

Honorary Member

An Honorary Member shall be any person who the Committee in their absolute discretion and on any terms that they determine, shall nominate for election by the members in general meeting to the status of honorary member and who is so elected. An honorary member shall not be an ordinary member.

HFC PP&OA Honorary Members receive the following benefits

• As Full Members
• Other benefits determined by the committee from time to time

Life Member

A life member shall be any person who the Committee in their absolute discretion, subject to the requirement that the nominee has served a minimum of 10 years of service to the Association, nominate for election by the members via a special resolution at a general meeting to the status of life member and who is so elected.

HFC PP&OA Life Members receive the following benefits
